Eating in Exodus (2024)
Enclosing my mother's recipes; a romantic display of my devotion to Palestinian food. This zine centres around cultural conservation, food sovereignty and indigenous cuisine in Palestine — food as resistance, food as love, and food as a balm to soothe our perpetual mourning. This booklet features multi-media paintings, digital illustrations, archived family photographs, interview and authentic recipes.

I created Figma wireframes for an interactive website-version of my zine!
I was approached to display my zine at the “Viva Viva Palestina” exhibit hosted at Rich Mix community centre; joining the programme of artistic exhibition, workshops, and somatic exploration in collaboration with multiple solidarity campaign organisations. I had my mini-publication displayed across a timeframe of 4 weeks, during which I conversed with attendees and guided them through the space.
